In FinView's TicketDesk, the description of each task can be altered to better suit the task's current requirements or to provide more detailed information. Follow these steps to change a task's description:

  • Access the TicketDesk: Navigate to the TicketDesk by clicking on the TicketDesk icon from the FinView main menu.
  • Select a Task: Choose the task you want to modify from your task list in the TicketDesk. This will take you to the task's detailed view.
  • Change the Task Description: In the task details view, locate the task's description in the navigation panel on the left side of the screen. Click on the pencil icon next to the description. This will open up a popup window.
  • Edit the Description: In the popup window, you will see a text box with the current task description. You can modify the description as needed in this text box.
  • Save Changes: After editing the description, remember to click on the 'Save' button to ensure your changes are saved and applied to the task.

Please remember that changing a task's description will change the context of the task for all users. Therefore, make sure your updated descriptions are clear, concise, and effectively communicate the task's requirements.
