Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of security that requires users to provide two forms of identification before accessing their account. With 2FA enabled, even if someone obtains your password, they won't be able to access your account without the second form of identification.

In FinView, you can set up 2FA easily by following these steps:

  1. Login to your FinView account with your username and password.
  2. You will be redirected to the 2FA QR code. At this point you will need to download any two factor authentication app on your phone. Below we have provided the links to google authenticator.
  3. Scan the QR code provided by FinView using the 2FA app on your device.
  4. The app will generate a unique, time-sensitive verification code. Enter this code in the designated field within FinView (Response code)
  5. Click Resigister 2-factor authentication.
  6. You will now need to login using your username and password.
  7. Enter the new code that is presented in your 2FA app and click login.
