Creating a New Customer

Here is a simple guide to help you create a new customer in FinView:

  1. Navigate to 'Customers' - From the FinView home page, locate the 'Customers' tab. This tab should be visible as you scroll down.
  2. Create New Customer - Within the 'Customers' section, you'll see a list of previously created customers. To create a new customer, click on the orange 'Create new customer' button.
  3. Customer Name - In the provided field, input the official name of your customer. This should correspond to the registered name of the client's company.
  4. Assign a Unique Short Code - At this stage, you'll assign a specialist user to your customer. If you have yet to create any specialists within your organization, you can follow this guide for instructions.
  5. Define the Customer Territory - Specify the territory for your customer. Usually, this will be the geographical region where the business is based. Once all details have been correctly filled out, click on the 'Create' button.\
  6. FinView will automatically create your basic customer and redirect you to the customer screen.
